Terms and Conditions

If you cancel your booking more than 30 days before arrival you will receive a full refund of monies paid. If you cancel your booking within 30 days of arrival you will be charged the full value of your stay. Travel insurance is highly recommended.

If you need to cancel a booking please let us know as soon as possible so we may offer the property to others.

Matuka Lodge is not responsible, under any circumstances, for any costs/damages incurred by the guest resulting from a cancellation for any reason.

Please note all guests must be over the age of 18 years. If guests do not comply the property reserves the right to charge the cancellation policy and refuse guests at time of check-in without refund.

YOUR NON-PAYMENT: Should any of your payments fail to reach us by their due date we have the right to cancel the booking with or without providing you with notice. Under these circumstances our standard cancellation charges apply.

Should GOVERNMENT TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS BE IN PLACE AT THE TIME OF YOUR CHECK IN: If New Zealand government travel restrictions are in place at the time of your check in which prevent you from travelling to Twizel you will receive a full refund.

UNAVAILABILITY OF BOOKED PROPERTY: Should the property confirmed become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of Matuka Lodge we will endeavour to provide a like property within 10 Kilometres of the Twizel township. Should the replacement property not meet your requirements a full refund will be provided to you.
